The FOM Real Estate Group is developing the new construction project SOLEIL at Sonnenstraße 24 in downtown Munich. FOM Invest GmbH had acquired the existing property together with CDC Investissement Immobilier in 2023. A high-quality office building with a gross floor area (GFA) of around 4,580 square meters, modern working environments and a flexible-use ground floor zone that can accommodate retail, services or gastronomy is being built on the site of the former Postbank building.
The concept was developed by the renowned architectural firm Steidle and combines contemporary architecture with harmonious integration into the cityscape. Particularly noteworthy is the efficient architectural design, which allowed an additional floor to be realized. The building grows from six to seven floors without affecting the height structure of the surrounding area.
With its prime location between Stachus and Sendlinger Tor, SOLEIL offers excellent accessibility and optimal visibility in one of Munich's most dynamic neighborhoods. Sonnenstrasse is on the verge of a long-term transformation into an urban boulevard – and the project will make an important contribution to this positive development.
Construction is scheduled to start towards the end of 2025, with completion planned for early 2028.
