As a crisis-resistant asset class, retail is now more interesting than ever, which is why FOM Invest is also active in this sector. In 2021, we acquired a portfolio of four existing properties for a comprehensive repositioning. New long-term rental agreements have already been concluded with the anchor tenants EDEKA, Kaufland and OBI for the three properties in Hanover, Mönchengladbach and Hildesheim, while the property in Duisburg is being converted into an attractive residential quarter. Following completion of the revitalisation, the retail properties are to be transferred to a new long-term hold fund.
